Just A Girl + Her Shopping Problems

Hi! I'm Alana, the earring connoisseur + face behind Coal Camp Collective.

In the beginning of March of 2021, I saw a pair of lightning bolt earrings online that I absolutely fell in love with. They were a perfect combination of the things I love fashion wise; a little bit of retro with a twist of western on the side. The funny thing is, I never actually bought them. The shipping was going to cost more than the earrings themselves (don't you love when that happens!) 

At the time I had a full time job working in an office, two part time jobs and a photography business on the side. I was a BUSY bee. But I kept coming back to those lightning bolt earrings. I NEEDED them. Or was that my shopping addiction talking? Perhaps my gut shoving me towards a more fulfilling career? Yeah. That sounds more like it hehe. Long story short, I set up shop. 

And the rest, as they say, is history!
